STUDI ANALISIS TENTANG AJARAN LAIN DALAM SURAT 1 TIMOTIUS 1:3 DAN IMPLIKASINYA BAGI ORANG PERCAYA MASA KINI

Abstract


Surat 1 Timotius adalah dokumen penting yang ditulis oleh Rasul Paulus untuk memberikan panduan kepada Timotius dalam kepemimpinannya di jemaat Efesus. Salah satu isu utama yang dibahas dalam surat ini adalah peringatan Paulus mengenai ajaran-ajaran yang menyimpang dari kebenaran Injil. Dalam 1 Timotius 1:3, Paulus menekankan pentingnya menghentikan "ajaran lain" yang dapat merusak integritas doktrinal jemaat. Ajaran ini berpotensi menyesatkan anggota jemaat dari pengajaran yang sehat yang telah diajarkan oleh para rasul.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menganalisis ajaran lain dalam 1 Timotius 1:3 dan implikasinya bagi orang percaya masa kini. Metode ini mencakup analisis eksegesis terhadap teks, dengan fokus pada kata kunci dalam bahasa Yunani dan konteks historis serta teologis surat tersebut. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa istilah "ajaran lain" (ἑτεροδιδασκαλεῖν) merujuk pada pengajaran yang secara fundamental berbeda dari doktrin yang diterima, dan berpotensi mengganggu pertumbuhan rohani jemaat.

Aplikasi ajaran ini bagi gereja masa kini sangat relevan. Dalam konteks modern, tantangan ajaran sesat kini muncul dalam bentuk teologi populer dan relativisme moral, yang dapat membingungkan jemaat. Oleh karena itu, gereja perlu kembali kepada ajaran Alkitab dan memberikan bimbingan yang jelas untuk membantu jemaat memahami kebenaran.
